An order is rarely late because someone forgot to place it. It is late because the part was superseded, because the paperwork at the port was incomplete, or because nobody confirmed that the delivery vehicle could physically reach the location it was sent to.
Handling procurement and the transport as one job removes the gap between them — the point where a delivery is technically “on its way” and nobody can say when it arrives.
Both of Ghana’s main corridors run inland from the coast to the gold belt. Coordinating clearance and inland transport as a single movement, rather than handing off between a clearing agent and a haulier, is what keeps a delivery date meaningful.
