Getting the right people onto site, and making sure everyone on site understands each other.
Sourcing and placing skilled and semi-skilled personnel for mine site roles — from operators and artisans through to supervisory and technical positions. We handle the search, the screening and the paperwork, so roles are filled with people who can pass site induction and start work.
Language support between the site's working language and the languages its people and its equipment actually come in. That covers expatriate management, francophone colleagues, and the Chinese-language documentation that arrives with a great deal of mining plant.
Mine site recruitment is not the same as office recruitment. A candidate who looks right on paper is no use if they cannot clear site induction, hold the right certification for the task, or work the roster the operation runs. Screening for that is the job.
The translation line exists for the same reason. Equipment arrives with documentation in the manufacturer’s language — and a great deal of mining plant now ships from China with Chinese manuals, parts catalogues and service instructions. Management teams on West African operations are frequently francophone. Work stops when a manual or a method statement cannot be read by the person who needs it.
Where a requirement spans more than one of our service areas — crews plus the equipment they operate, or personnel plus the logistics to get them to a remote site — it stays with one point of contact rather than being split across suppliers.
